We recognise that advances in technology mean our clients are increasingly choosing to interact with us across multiple channels; face to face, on the telephone and online. That’s why we’ve introduced our new client portal that enables you to see your complete financial picture in seconds at a time and place to suit you.

Accessible online 24/7 across desktops, laptops and mobile devices, the client portal gives you access to your long- term savings and investment information in an easy to use, online format. And with the addition of other benefits, you can combine this (via the Linked Accounts feature) with your short-term finances, such as bank accounts, savings and credit cards, to see a complete picture of where you stand financially.

Accounts, transactions and most balances are refreshed daily, so the information displayed in your portal will always be up to date (where an integration exists) and it’s displayed in a visually engaging way that’s easy to understand. Because your Personal Finance Portal is cloud-based, getting up-to-date valuations becomes a breeze so you can always see how your investments are performing. There’s no need to download an app for your ‘phone or tablet; PFP uses what’s called a progressive web app, meaning that it adapts automatically to the device that you’re using, with everything shown as it should be.

Accessible document storage that’s second to none
Your portal allows you to house all your documents, both financial and personal, in a single online document vault that’s completely secure and fully backed up. It’s far more secure than keeping paper copies in your filing cabinet or in a computer file which can be hacked. The portal also allows you to digitally sign and return documents, saving you time, and postage and printing costs.

What’s more, everything is completely encrypted, meaning that you can communicate with us in whichever method you prefer, using the inbuilt messaging or video chat service safely and securely.

As an existing client, you will recall that you provided personal information when you joined us and we’ve separated this information into 2 categories when it comes to our moving data from the existing Client Portal to the PFP:

To help you with registering and using the PFP thereafter, we’ve created a PFP User Guide in both written and video format (see below). Please make sure that you’ve taken a good look at this before registering, so that you know what to expect. It’s easy once you know how!
New feature: Linked Accounts
Just before you head to the guide and registration, a special mention for a brand-new feature that can fly under the radar but is really useful and time-saving: Open Banking, also known as Linked Accounts.
Linked Accounts (Open Banking)
Linking your bank accounts within your PFP will help you to complete the Income and Expenditure section under Finances. It does this by categorising items and pre-populating your profile. As you proceed through the Your Profile questions, you will be asked to register for this service and we strongly recommend that you do.
The underlying data that is imported remains confidential to you and we have no access to it. All we see are the totals in the various categories, helping us to understand your finances better. By linking your external accounts, no one has any functionality to transact on those accounts, not even you. It is completely safe and secured by bank-level encryption.
